2. Scope and acceptance
These Terms apply when you browse our website, purchase a course or service, access course materials, or attend a live session. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms, the Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. If you purchase on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
3. The AI Agent Basics course
AI Agent Basics is an English-language recorded practical course. It includes three recorded modules and access to three live Q&A sessions held during the course. The current course page describes the syllabus, format and included support.
Live Q&A dates and joining details are communicated to the email address used at checkout. A recording or alternative session may be offered if we need to reschedule a session. Individual attendance at every live session is not guaranteed if you cannot attend the announced dates.
The course provides education and practical guidance. It does not constitute legal, tax, financial, employment or information-security advice, and it does not guarantee a particular commercial, career or technical result.
4. Ordering, price and payment
The total price and currency are shown before you confirm payment in Stripe Checkout. Unless stated otherwise, this is a one-time payment. Any applicable taxes are shown as required. We may change prices for future purchases, but not for an order already completed.
Your order becomes binding when payment succeeds and you receive confirmation. Payments are processed by Stripe and its payment partners. We do not receive or store your full card details. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own terms, exchange rate or fees.
If a payment is declined, reversed, fraudulent or charged back without a valid basis, we may suspend access while the matter is investigated.
5. Delivery and access
We send course access and next steps to the email address used at checkout after successful payment. Your personal access lasts for four months from the date access is issued.
You are responsible for providing a working email address, checking spam folders, keeping login details secure, and having a compatible device and internet connection. Contact us promptly if access has not arrived or does not work.
Some exercises use third-party tools such as AI workspaces, Google services, video conferencing or external APIs. Those services may require separate accounts or paid plans and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for changes, outages or decisions made by third-party providers.
6. Personal licence and intellectual property
All course videos, text, templates, examples, designs, trademarks and other materials are owned by Robot & Sons or used with permission. Your purchase grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials for your own learning and work during the access period.
You may not share your account, publish or resell the materials, record or redistribute live sessions, remove ownership notices, create a competing course from the materials, or make them available to others without our written permission. You retain ownership of materials that you create and submit, subject to any rights belonging to third parties.
7. Responsible use
You agree not to misuse the website, course, community or live sessions; interfere with security; upload malicious or unlawful content; infringe another person's rights; or use the course to facilitate unlawful, deceptive or harmful activity. You remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated outputs before using them and for protecting confidential and personal data.
We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach. Where appropriate, we will first explain the issue and give you a reasonable opportunity to correct it. Statutory refund rights are not affected.
8. Cancellations and refunds
Our Refund Policy forms part of these Terms. It includes a full 14-day refund promise and explains how consumers can exercise the EU right of withdrawal. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Availability and liability
We use reasonable care and skill in providing the course. We may make proportionate updates to content, instructors, platforms or scheduling where the overall service remains materially equivalent. If we cancel the course or cannot provide a material part of it, we will offer an appropriate replacement, rescheduling or refund.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, loss caused by third-party services, or loss caused by your failure to follow reasonable instructions. Our total liability arising from a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for that purchase. These limits do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.
Neither party is liable for delay caused by events outside its reasonable control, provided the affected party takes reasonable steps to reduce the impact.
10. Complaints, consumer resolution and law
Please send complaints to e@robotandsons.tech. We will acknowledge the complaint and aim to provide a substantive response within 15 business days.
Consumers may also use Portugal's Electronic Complaints Book. For contracts concluded in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, the general consumer dispute resolution entity is the Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo de Lisboa. Depending on where a contract is concluded, another entity may be competent; consult the official list of consumer dispute resolution entities. The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025.
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of mandatory consumer protections and courts available to you under applicable law. We will first try to resolve any dispute in good faith.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms for future purchases or where required by law. The version accepted when you purchased continues to govern that purchase unless a change is legally required or benefits you. The current version and effective date are published on this page.
