We collect as little as we can, and this page says exactly what that is.

Who is responsible

Egor Maraev, NIF 309650461, Estoril, Cascais, Portugal, trading as Robot & Sons. For anything on this page, write to e@robotandsons.tech. If we wrote to you from kate@robotandsons.tech, you can also simply reply to that email.

What we collect

When you use the form on this site: your name, your email address, your company if you fill it in, and the sentence you write about the tasks that take your team's time. We also store which page you sent it from and the channel tag from the link you arrived by, so that we know which invitation brought you.

When you join the waiting list: your name and your email address.

When you buy a place: the details needed for the invoice, including a company name and tax number where a company pays. We never see or store your card number.

The agency survey

On robotandsons.company/research we ask agency leaders a few questions about the hours clients do not pay for and how their teams use AI.

What we store: your answers (agency size, role, where the hours go, how many hours, how your team uses AI, and anything you type into the "other" fields), the time you sent them, and the tags from the link you used: which group of invitations it came from and the region. If you choose to leave your email, we store it with your answers, together with the choice you made about what we may send you.

Is it anonymous? The summary we publish is. It shows only totals across agencies, never a name, an agency or a group small enough to point to one person. The answers we store are not fully anonymous: if you leave your email they sit next to it, and the link tags could in theory narrow down who answered. We do not use them for that. Only the two of us who run Robot & Sons can see the raw answers.

Why we are allowed to hold it: your answers without an email, our legitimate interest in studying how agencies spend their time and publishing what we find. Your email and the summary, your consent, given when you pick one of the two options under the email field. Our offers, only if you picked the second option, also with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying to any email from us or writing to kate@robotandsons.tech; that does not affect what we sent before.

How long: we keep your answers and your email for twelve months. After that we delete the email, and your answers remain only as part of the totals. If you agreed to hear about our offers, we stop and delete your email as soon as you opt out.

Leaving your email is optional. Without it you can still answer every question.

When we write to you first

Sometimes we write to someone at a company before anyone there has written to us. If that is how you reached this page, here is what we hold and why.

What we hold: your name, your role, your work email address, your employer and its location, the public page or post that made us write to you, a short note on that public work, and whether you replied or asked us to stop.

Where we got it: from your company's own website or another page that publishes your work details, such as a conference programme or an industry listing, and from Apollo.io, a business contact database we use to find and check work email addresses. We do not use private email addresses or details from private accounts. Ask us and we will tell you exactly which source your address came from.

Why we are allowed to hold it: our legitimate interest in offering a business service to the company you work for, in your professional capacity. We write only to people whose work our programmes are built for, at the address their employer uses for work, about their work, and only a few times.

How long: twelve months from our last message, unless we end up working together. If you ask us to stop, we keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list, so that we never write to you again.

You can object at any time: reply "unsubscribe" to any of our emails and we stop writing to you, usually the same working day and always within ten working days. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to us holding it at all, by writing to e@robotandsons.tech.

What we do not collect

This site sets no advertising cookies and does not track you across other sites. Your browser keeps the channel tag from your link so that we can credit the right invitation, and that value never leaves your device except with a form you send us yourself.

Why we are allowed to hold it

Who else sees it

Our requests, waiting list and survey answers are stored with Supabase, in the European Union. The emails we send first, and the replies to them, go through Apollo.io and Google Workspace, both based in the United States; they process data for us under their data processing terms and the EU standard contractual clauses. Invoices are issued through the Portuguese tax portal. Nobody else receives your details, and we do not sell them.

How long we keep it

Requests and waiting list entries are kept for up to twelve months, and we delete them sooner if you ask. Invoices are kept for as long as Portuguese tax law requires. Survey answers and the details behind emails we send first are kept as described in their own sections above.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we do that within thirty days. Write to e@robotandsons.tech. You can also object to anything we do on the basis of our legitimate interest, and withdraw any consent you gave, at any time. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD.
